The TradesmanXP has been the premium wheelbarrow of the construction industry for decades and maintains the design that earned that legacy. The tray is now produced with recessed bolts, along with other improvements, but it stays true to the original design and values that exemplified the passion of Douglas Davidson when he founded New Zealand Wheelbarrows over twenty years ago.

Tray

Ideal for resisting impacts and sharp, heavy, bulky and abrasive loads.

  • 100 litre, 160kg capacity.
  • 1.2mm thick, hot-dip galvanised steel.
  • The tray is galvanised and then painted safety yellow for durability and high visibility on construction sites.
  • The thick, tough tray has a big, flat, bolt-free base for stacking materials.
  • The cantilevered, focused, jug-like pourer spout makes light work of placing concrete.
  • The wide tray base means you can carry ten or more concrete blocks safely.
  • Reinforced rim.

  • 4 ply tyres 16x4.80/4.00-8 tyre with a thick, block tread.
  • Wide steel rim with rolled edge to care for the tyre over bumps and edges.
  • The butyl rubber inner tube holds pressure longer.
  • Large, free-running, high quality, precision sealed ball bearings.

  • 180kg capacity puncture proof NEVER FLAT PU tyre.

Sturdy quality, built to last.

I purchased the Tradesman XP as we are renovating our house. I don't like mucking around with cheap tools so decided to go for the best on offer. NZ Wheelbarrows have some of the best reviews and are built to last. Have had other cheaper barrows in the past, they are flimsy when full and the tyres always blow out. The XP tyre will hopefully keep going for years.
